VEHICLE RECOMMENDATIONS
Here is our guide and recommendations vehicle requirements and modifications for a Tag-Along Adventure Tour.
Thanks to Rough As Guts, we have included this
FUEL RANGE CALCULATOR
to cover a wide range of four-wheel-driving conditions.
It can take into account:
-
Long-range or standard tanks - for those who like to test how far “empty” really is!
-
Any jerry cans you’ve packed—because extra fuel is never a bad idea
-
The terrain you’re tackling: sand, highways, gravel… or that random track someone called “easy”
-
Whether you’re towing, and how big the trailer or caravan is
-
Bigger tyres—great for looks, not so great for fuel economy
Disclaimer: This tool gives rough estimates only and shouldn’t be used as your main trip-planning guide. We can’t guarantee its accuracy, and we take no responsibility if you run out of fuel — that bit’s all yours!
