If you love bread, cheese and bacon then this one is for you.
My daughter and I love to cook and prepare food together and this is one we created one day when we down at our favourite local spot on the mighty Murray River.
We were planning on making our original Travel Buddy Damper with Jam and Cream (see blog) instead as we often do decided to tweak it a little with some cheese and bacon we had in the fridge.

It was such a hit that we have now added it to our 4WD Tag-Along Adventure Tours menu.
It is especially enjoyed on a cool morning in the outback or the mountains, fresh and warm straight out of the oven with some butter.
Prepare in the morning and allow to cook whilst travelling, touring and exploring Australia.
This is a very easy meal/snack to make and takes only 10-15 minutes to prepare, 1.5 hours cooking time in the Travel Buddy Oven.
Chelsea's (& Luke) Cheese & Bacon Loaf
Ingredients:
2 cups of self raising flour
1 egg
1 cup of cheese (pick your favourite cheese) - we use Taste and 3 cheese Blend
2/3 cup milk (allow a bit extra)
1 cup of bacon diced
a pinch of salt and pepper
Bread tin & Fry pan
*** Can be made with GF Flour add more milk to allow for the dense flour (approx. 1 cup milk)
